Dor Confino
Dor Confino creates large works of art using acrylic paint and construction materials. Her work as an architect allowed her to become familiar with construction materials. The viewer experiences the flow of energy she expresses in her works. Confino often uses her bare hands to compose and create layers of constant movement. She shares her feelings of years of infertility treatments she has gone through in the subject matter of her works. Her choice to share her own story in her works, is her way of responding to socio-political issues and events that happen around the world. Confino portrays the point of view of a real person, who remains optimistic and hopeful. Dor Confino is represented in many solo and group exhibitions around the world.
